Na małej wyspie, mieszkał chłopiec. Żył samotnie w zamku marzeń
Dało się ją zwiedzić dookoła w pół dnia
Jednak samotny chłopiec żył tam lata…

Na małej wyspie, nic się nie dzieje. Czas stoi w miejscu, chroni go
Pomimo tego, że był samotny
Nie umiał powiedzieć „dlaczego tak?”

Na małej wyspie, wiatr też nie wieje. Pomimo tego, że wokół świat
Pomimo tego, że mała wyspa
Tak samotna, jednak…

Mam wrażenie, że stosujesz obcojęzyczną składnię i interpunkcję. Np. odgradzasz przecinkiem dopełnienia "wyrzucone" na początek zdania, przed czasownik. Trochę tak jak we francuskim. Jestem wyczulona na tę kwestię, bo sama robię dziwne kalki - studiuję filologię obcą.

studiowałem anglistykę i w ogóle angielski staje się dla mnie bardziej narodowy niż polski więc może to dlatego.

Nie znam dobrze angielskiego, więc moja opinia nie jest może zbyt wartościowa, ale na moje ucho to rzeczywiście brzmi lepiej po angielsku niż po polsku :)
